As i said in previous reviews, i am not a sean bean fan, and feel he is the weak link in everything i see him in (goldeneye, ronin, lotr). They should have tossed in a sam scene with his loving dad just to round things out. Somehow i wound up watching about 5 minutes of an episode and was instantly hooked.

The haunted, defeated faces of every single person in the frey household as walder faked hospitality to. We have a story to recap and a ton of great stuff happened before the harrowing final act — tyrion plays a college drinking game, drogo is suddenly on the brink of death and only black magic can. But the most memorable part of this episode still has to be the end. When i first saw ads for game of thrones i immediately was super turned off and was sure it was ultra stupid and knew it sucked. An odd episode for father's day with all this talk of wicked fathers and bastards and the like.

I've since bought every season. As the only other surviving targaryen talked of the destruction of his family you could see the seeds of every plot strand of this season. I am a big fan of the books and the adaptation is really perfect, actually better than i thought it could be.
